Great “How To”. Using IP tables to strew with un-invited wifi guests
This guy used IP tables and a little shell script to have fun with his neighbors who were stealing his wireless internet access.
Here’s some examples:

2008-The American Dream

This years Burning Man will stand atop a series of viewing platforms. A giant obelisk with a double helix staircase, the top tier directly below the man. Emblazoned with flags from across the world, encouraging us to envision the dreams of other nations as well as our own impact on the world.

To quote the Burning Man Group, this year’s art theme is about “nationality, identity and the nature of patriotism.” Its about asking “what happened to America, and what can we do to fix it”? What can we still contribute to this world? What is the collective dream of the people?
Which leads me to the question, what is the collective dream of the people? The theme seems promising enough, as far as possibilities for creativity go. But how do we feel about this years theme and how it relates to Burning Man in general? Feel free to post any thoughts and comments about the theme and your take on it. We’d love to hear what you think!
Read more about this years theme at the official 2008 Art Theme website here and dont forget, tickets go on sale January 16th.
